The CW has been incredibly disrespectful to anyone who has struggled with mental illness by constantly insinuating that someone who is mentally ill can't function, remember things, exercise, take care of themselves, or do normal everyday things. Mental illness does not mean someone is incapable of functioning. #LindsayClancy #LindsayClancyTrial
@monsterhunter45 Just a white conservative woman here who does not support illegal aliens, whose mother is Bipolar I, who has CPTSD from trauma due to her mother’s psychosis because her drs kept giving her anti depressants. Drs are supposed to do no harm. Lindsay’s Drs did a lot of harm.
The Lindsay Clancy trial will eventually end.
The conversation about women’s mental health shouldn’t end with it.
Whatever verdict you believe is appropriate, this case has exposed difficult questions about postpartum mental health, psychiatric care, medication management, warning signs and what happens when someone repeatedly says they need help.
When the cameras leave Plymouth, I hope THAT conversation continues.

what if I told you that TRUE justice for these 3 beautiful babies, would be, taking all the appropriate measures and taking a STANCE, to ensure that this NEVER happens again. Ensuring that when a woman says she is “not alright”, that she is HEARD; not “dealt with”, but actually heard!
JUSTICE for these 3 beautiful lives taken FARRR TOO SOON, is not locking Lindsay Clancy away forever and just forgetting about her.. b/c if that happens, then they are forgotten, and we just cannot let that happen, their lives have GOT to have a purpose thru this unthinkable tragedy! Justice for these children would be ensuring that mothers get the help they need, when they need it (regardless of a plan). Justice for these kids would be addressing PPD once and for all and stop stigmatizing it!! I truly do hope this is the point in which we wake up as a society and realize we have a “mental health crisis” going on, whether we want to admit it or not! Our current system is NOT equipped to deal with the current state of “mental health” and it’s time to come to terms with that and make appropriate changes! Because the more we continue to turn a blind eye to this fact, the worse it will unfortunately get!

REST IN THE SWEETEST PEACE CLANCY CHILDREN 🕊️🙏🏼
@Emi72790 I never thought I’d think the Adelsons were decent at all, but at least in that case- they were decent enough to not have their dad gunned down in front of them. My heart breaks for that little girl.
Anyone who is attacking people supporting Lindsay: They’re choosing to attack every woman who has experienced PPD. & Any woman who has had ANY health care concern ignored. They’re choosing to attack all women who didn’t feel heard.

As someone whose mother was Bi-Polar and saw her do things I never dreamed she would, I find it insane how many people out here think they have any idea what it's like. And how they sit in judgment, thinking it is all so black-and-white.
It isn't an excuse, but it is VERY real that people can have breaks with reality. My mom did. She came back to normal and broke MANY TIMES again over the years.
I also saw her being in a completely different reality than the rest of us, and then acting completely normal when taken to the hospital for help.
So how some of these people can sit in judgment of things they know nothing about and have never experienced is beyond me.
According to some people out there, I should be held responsible for her behavior because I knew she was sick and didn't "do anything."
It's not that simple. You can't even begin to imagine how hard mental illness is to deal with as a family member. You can't anticipate the things they will or wont do. And some people out here clearly can't fathom that people can do things they would never imagine doing when a break happens. And some people can't seem to understand that you can't control another human, especially one who is mentally ill.
It's not an excuse; it is a reality. I hope those people out here making harsh judgments NEVER experience mental illness in themselves or the people they love. It's truly one of the hardest things in the world to manage as a family member.
It's sad. It can be tragic. It can be life-altering. That doesn't make it ok. But mental health is something that is far from understood by most people, including those dealing with it themselves and as a family member to someone dealing with it.
You can tell when people are watching a trial for the first time. It’s infuriating to watch people talk like they have any idea of how the law works. It’s very apparent this is your first time. For the love of God, stop watching TikTok, stop posting BS and let it play out‼️‼️
