BREAKING: Lead investor behind Flock Camera Technologies caught funding a firm that is able to locate, hack, and ALTER both live and archived security camera footage without a detectable trace.
Guess who he is also linked to...
What a nightmare. By implementing the tariffs illegally, and now having to unwind them, the Trump administration created over $100 billion of profit for corporations selling foreign products, at the expense of American consumers.
Your refund: $0.00
Apple’s profit: $2.2 billion
Can Halo please get this in whatever the next game is when it releases in 5 years time?
Gears just completely abandoned battlepasses and a microtransaction store in favor of a Reach-style credit armory and Halo 3-style achievement unlocks
Halo NEEDS this too @asha_shar

I'm just so tired of being right all the time.
I'm so, so tired of calling out that there's a corporate beige culture of pure evil in game dev forcing any sense of sensuality out the window.
The fact that there needs to be a guide this long for it is the entire problem. You want to know how splitscreen works on the original Halo trilogy?
Plug in a second controller. Start the game.
The city of Phoenix Arizona started a ‘Photo Safety Program.” They setup speed cameras that take a photo if you go 11 mph over the speed limit
🚨 A private company then comes to your door to serve you the ticket and get your signature, dressed very similar to Amazon
The city outsourced the ticket program to a company called Verra Mobility
The private company handles basically everything, they
- Installing and operating the cameras
- Processing of the images
- They mail the notice
- They then go out and serve people who don’t respond their ticket
The private company Verra Mobility gets a base fee of about $3,000 per camera per month plus $20 for every ticket that gets paid
This creates a clear incentive to pursue collection aggressively
This is insane… We now have private companies with access to all our information….. sending people out to actually serve and collect money….
“Wow does this mean we’ll finally get cool retrofuturistic atomic gadgets like in Fallout?”
“No it means Monsanto is going to put radium shavings in your food to increase shelf-life and maximise profits. Enjoy the birth defects.”
If these are for "safety," why hide them?
Are they for public safety or public stalking? Because nothing says “trust us” like surveillance in camouflage.
I’ll soon be sponsoring a bill to withhold federal money from municipalities and police departments that deploy Flock (and other style) cameras to surveil law abiding citizens.
