I get the QPR fans are fuming about season ticket price increases but it's still relative.
This year I paid £450 to take my 5 year old and partner to a two hour panto in London. I realise what is served up is often a pantomime of sorts, but at least we get 23 of them.

We're working harder than our parents did for HALF the lifestyle.
Is it time to give up or get out?!
As with so many areas of British political life, the student loans spiral betrays deep cultural decay. Our political class pretend that 50% of school leavers ought to attend university and that the country can afford this. They shouldn’t. It can’t.
@rcolvile 👏
Most common living arrangement for young men used to be with a spouse, now it’s with their parents
If you care about the birth rate so much you could do worse than increasing their disposable income by 9%
Sat at home in my armchair with my clocks for company. Ignore the time; I haven’t wound it up. I’ve got about sixteen of them and when they’re wound up and ticking, they keep me company. I remember Lowry saying the same thing. He had a house full of grandfather clocks.
An endorsement from me might be the kiss of death for @AndyBurnhamGM but in this weekend's @notanother1pod I explain why he's probably Labour's best bet.
1. Because unlike Khan's mayoralty in London, Burnham has conssistently sought to serve and involve Mancunians who aren't Labour. This has built broad and deep support for eg his tech education innovation. And the backing of private investors for infrastructure.
2. Manchester is probably UK Lab's best local/regional achievement in post-war period. It certainly isn't Wales or Brum (ie how not to govern). Burnham cld bring Mcr's model (incl some of its key rainmakers) to the national stage.
3. He knows who he is and what he believes with serious experience in central and now regional govt of how to nake things happen (incl a lot of self-reflection on an underwhelming stint overseeing health for Blair). And that's Unlike 80% of most ministers - notably the weathervane PM!
