Four years ago, a man walked into my office and said, “I need help. Child Protective Services took my children.”

I told him what I tell everyone: I do not handle custody cases. But he brought me a book of documents the size of a dictionary and asked me to do one thing—just look at it.

I did. What I saw was an abuse of the system and a father whose parental rights were being stripped away. So I took the case.

We fought—and lost. We appealed—and lost. We appealed to the Supreme Court—and lost. We returned to the Circuit Court—and lost again. Years passed. It was loss after loss after loss.

Then the guardian ad litem made a critical mistake. She accused my client of violating multiple court orders. We tried those charges and defeated them. In the process we succeeded in having the GAL removed.

Then the dam broke.

We got the case transferred to another court. And today, we walked out of that courthouse with full custody restored to a father who lost his son five years ago.

This has been one of the most biblical cases of my legal career. It taught me that losing is part of life—but giving up is a choice.

We fought. We lost. We fought again. And again. And again. Even when winning seemed completely impossible, we refused to quit.

Today, the system finally listened—and a father got his son back.

This case changed me. It changed the way I see the law. The law is not always fair. The system is not always fair. But if you keep fighting long enough, the truth has a chance to come out.

Family court was not an interesting topic for me as a therapist. That was until I saw parents and kids destroyed by sheer incompetence and evil.

To wit-

I attended a family court hearing where a young mother had her kid siezed in the aftermath of her husband committing suicide with a shotgun in their driveway (yes, smoove off). The fat social worker in charge was dressed as a literal witch. Gothic dress, pointy hat, pentegram neckless, all of it. And a beard to rival mine. I was sure the judge would throw her in the pokey for contempt, but he didn't say a word.

Come to find out, this social worker was an open satanist and wore her steel pentagram out in open court. I was so disturbed by what I was seeing that I called my clinical director with a "you're never going to believe this..." Except she believed it. And informed me that my county has one of the highest rates for foster kids disappearing in the state. They get siezed by this witch and then "run away".

-I have seen fathers blow a fortune getting a district court order before the supreme court and getting a favorable ruling vacating the district court. And then the district court saying, "No, I don't think I will" and simply proceeding as though nothing happened. And you know what? No one cares. No follow up from the Supreme Court. No recourse for the father who just won his appeal.

I'm involved now because I am fearless in my approach and that is needed.

My advice: Do everything you can to screen the crazy or evil (or hormones) in the girl you want to marry. Choose wisely.

Then do everything you must do to avoid giving the family courts access to your kids.

I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with CPS in a supervisory capacity.

CPS basically exists to transfer White children to foster homes so that they get abused.

They almost never take non-White children away.

HR ordered me to downgrade my three excellent employee reviews to satisfactory because management didn’t recognize their names. I got written up for telling my employees this.

HR denied that they told me anything, even though I had the emails from them documenting it.

Totally worth it. My employees were excellent and got the raises they deserved.
