Haven't posted on Twatter in a long time. I kind of let me youtube channels die over the years, but I have had fun just ranting into a camera on this channel: https://t.co/VR3V0n69YA
If you want to see what I have been up to, come make fun of me.
Arena is Toxic AF. Every other game is a griefer who won't concede and I have to wait 9 billion years for timers. Report button now to weed out these people or at least give me the Zzzzzzzz... emote back.
@wizards_magic Still no report function on MTGArena to report stallers, or option for a timer in best of 1, best of 3 timer is WAY too long. Every other game has addressed this to prevent stalling / griefing crap. I guess we have to wait another 4 years for this simple function?
@DatNerdyKid101 I tend to hate collectivism, especially when it is based on some sort of identity or group adherence. We need more individualism. I got canceled when I refused to join the dog-piling of another creator. Funny thing is, look how many of the dog-pilers have now been canceled...
*Spoiler Alert! Behind closed doors, all of your MTG "community" heroes are trash people. It was the main reason I left the so called "community" and stopped trying to collaborate with them. It never surprises when these pathetic individuals true character finally surfaces. 1)
@DatNerdyKid101 When I lost my sponsorships I pivoted to providing a subscription service that sells MTG and other games at cost. I don't make profit on the products, just the service itself. So I like keeping people happy by getting things they want. Rudy often makes my life complicated...
@Alacron14 Oh, I am definitely not a role model and have my own hot takes and flaws as a person. I just hope I have never or will never use my position to manipulate, coerce or take advantage of someone. Sadly, I think that sums up most of WotCs/ MTGs historical power struggle.
Hopefully it gets better... but I doubt it because the large voices and leaders would rather play lip service and pretend to advocate for this trendy cause or that do-getter cause than actually address their rotten behavior. So for now, I stay disillusioned... 11)
However, what I saw was the same old tired hierarchies... people who had made it gatekeeping or blackmailing newer creators, cliques and "in-groups" demanding adherence or favors, it doesn't surprise me that this lead to outright disgusting abuse of power, which we commonly see.
I thought that since we all were brought together by a game, being gamers we all have probably experienced abuse like being bullied, ostracized or taken advantage of, and less likely to exhibit these behavior ourselves - having been on the receiving end 9)
