@DanielRPK I never got confirmation that it was my edits that convinced anyone, but when the second round of concept art came out, sure enough there were wings on his helmet!

@DanielRPK I can't 100% prove it, but I'm the reason Captain America has wings on the side of his helmet in the MCU.

When the initial sketches leaked w/no wings I photoshopped Ultimates-style wings onto the helmet and sent them in. I was told they were shown to Feige and he liked it!
