Today kids are trolling Aakash Chopra. Meanwhile let me show you some Aakash Chopra stats that show why he is a champion. I dare every one of his haters to read this post till the end.

He debuted for India in Test Series against NewZealand
- He played 4 Test innings and, in almost every innings, faced 100+ balls.
- His scores were: 42 (116), 31 (71), 60 (148), and 52 (160).

Then the next Test Series he played is historic Australia series
- In the very first innings, when Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag got out, Aakash Chopra faced 135 balls and helped prevent a collapse.
- In the famous second Test, Sehwag was struggling early. So Aakash Chopra faced 44 balls in the first 11 overs of the first innings, taking the shine off the new ball and even in the second inning he faced 54 balls in making the life easier for Sehwag.
- In the third and fourth Tests also, he carried India opening, faced 300+ balls in those matches.
- In that Australia series, Sachin faced 670 balls, while Aakash Chopra faced 530 balls, and it was only his first major overseas tour.

In next Series Against Pakistan
- In the very first Test of the series, he put together a 160 run opening partnership with Sehwag.

In his first 7 Test matches, he had already established himself as a reliable opener who could handle challenging overseas conditions. He failed in only a few matches but still ended up losing his place in the team.

And let's not forget:
- He played 162 First Class matches
- He scored 10000+ First Class runs
- He has 45+ FC batting average

Yes, Aakash Chopra is a champion. He has done far more for Indian cricket than all the keyboard warriors ever will.
