So the school has just released a memo directing 300-level MBBS students in Streams A and B to vacate the university.
After years of delay and uncertainty, this is heartbreaking.

From the Class of 2020, 2021, and 2022 — The Students You Haven’t Forgotten__
We came here with stethoscopes around our necks and fire in our chests.
We came ready to become doctors for our communities, for our families, for a country that desperately needs us.
That was 2 to 4 years ago.
Today, we are still here. Stuck.
The Class of 2020 and 2021 have been in 300L for 2 to 3 years now.
We have repeated the same lectures. Rewritten the same notes. Watched our juniors in other schools pass us by, graduate, and enter housemanship while we remain frozen in time.
We are frustrated.
Frustrated because we study 12 hours a day for exams that don’t move us forward.
Frustrated because our parents keep asking “when will you finish?” and we have no answer.
Frustrated because we see patients waiting for doctors while we sit idle, with knowledge but no license to use it.
*But more than frustrated, we are pleading.*
Pleading because we have sacrificed everything for this dream.
Pleading because some of our parents have sold land, borrowed money, and aged waiting for the day we become “Dr.”
Pleading because every month without accreditation is another month of lost lives, lost careers, and lost hope.
Accreditation is not a favor. It is the promise you made to us when we were admitted. It is the bridge between the training we have endured and the patients waiting for our hands.
We are not asking you to lower standards. We are asking you to meet them, so we can meet ours.
Give us a clear timeline. Give us the accreditation process you committed to. Give us back our future.
We don’t want pity. We want to serve.
Let us finish becoming doctors.
Respectfully,
_The Class of 2020, 2021, and 2022_
FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES OTUKPO(FUHSO) Medical Students_
@Nigerian_Doctor
@the_beardedsina FUHSO doesn't have accreditation. The students have been asking their management. They claim they are working, but there's no evidence. No transparency! No accountability!
The student went for a peaceful protest, and the management released a memo for them to go home immediately
I remember at some point, I stopped going home because everyone kept asking me when I was graduating.
This widespread accreditation is becoming concerning.
And some people will start wondering why Nigerian doctors don't want to practice in Nigeria.
We need to put a stop to this nonsense of wasting people's time.
🤧🤧🤧🤧
The necessary authorities should please do the needful!
#savefuhsomedicalstudents
The vc has called military people to displace the students. They are portesting peacefully for their rights
@guzu_p@Wizarab10@john322226 you guys should help them
According to a video posted by Lucky Udu, this Nigerian man was chased out of his wedding because of his beards.
The man stated that, when they arrived at the church, everything was moving well and immediately after praise and worship, when everyone was in a happy mood, the pastor took the mic and said if he doesn't cut his hair, the wedding will not hold.
"My wife started crying, she cried for about 30 minutes. I had no choice but to go out and cut the hair because it was our big day!
I met with the MoG two days before our wedding and he asked me to cut the hair which I did but on that day, he said it's still very long and I don't look like a Christian.
Many people thought it was content but it was actually real. I had no idea one of my friends was filming everything."
In your opinion, did the pastor do the right thing....??
