As a parent I’m not worried that my 9 and 13 year olds are going to be “indoctrinated” with “wokeness” at school.
I’m not worried that they’re going to ‘feel guilty about their whiteness’ because they’re learning accurate history.
I’m not worried that they’re going to be “groomed” to become furries and to make their pees pees in litter boxes.
Those things aren’t real.
Wanna know what is real?
My worry that they’re going to get shot. That someone with an AR-15 is going to go into their school and shoot them.
So, while the same gun fetishizing, AR-15 lapel pin wearing, locked and loaded family Christmas card posing Republicans fear monger & manufacture crises under the guise of “parents rights”, I say this:
It is my right as a parent to send my kids to school without worrying that they will get shot.
It ain’t the drag queens, the African American history, the books with two moms or two seahorse dads which threaten our kids.
It’s the fucking guns.

Hey @CapitalOne , it would be great if I weren't on hold for 5 hours for the 5th day, so that I can use my airline credit but not ever get through or get a callback. This is completely ridiculous and fares keep climbing, something needs to change and be done.

@dansaltzstein I was wearing the costume in my photo working in Midtown. I walking in the theatre district, and John Stamos stopped me. He asked why I was wearing that/carrying a hula hoop, and asked to take a picture with ME. I obviously said yes, and he posted the picture on social media.

Many years ago, I was covering a panel for work at NYCC, and got there very early. I stumbled into the Once Upon A Time (which hadn’t premiered yet) panel, decided to stay, and may have shrieked when they announced @JaneEspenson was there.

I happened to have my @BuffyTVS poster from 2000 with me, and after the panel/pilot viewing I asked her to sign it. She did, as had others prior and later, and was so beyond sweet and kind. Many moves and cities later, it’s finally framed and hung up. I cannot thank her enough.
