In June, Flagler County deputies responded to a distress call about an intoxicated person in Palm Coast.

While transporting 18-year-old Autumn Bellows to a mental health facility, she became aggressive, slipped her handcuffs, spat on a deputy’s face and hair, and licked the in-car patrol camera.

Bellows was charged with felony battery on a law enforcement officer.

She later pled no contest and her case was settled in pretrial intervention.
