@mothonastr1ng@BrodieOnLinux When you have a friend nearly dying because of similar thing it puts your life in a perspective. Taking simple precautions becomes normal (just like after starting krav maga classes I started to notice exits that I can take in case something happens). Other people are dangerous
@mothonastr1ng@BrodieOnLinux the only problem could be echinococcosis(tapeworms) due to fox urine. Statistically there is 1-2 cases per year (with around 85% of people eating wild berries/mushrooms in a country of 10,5 milion)
for comparasion- 2 800-2900 cases of hepatitis and 20-25 leptospirosis cases/year
@mothonastr1ng@BrodieOnLinux rats in the wild in central europe are next to non existent. they live in human made structures due to easy acess to food. I suggest enviromental geography textbook before you start embarassing yourself more
@AirborneMuffins@BrodieOnLinux the liquid is aobut 1,5-2cm under the top part of the can. when you open it it never touches it (at least I never had any can filled so much it touched in any central european country I lived in)
@SammiiSixx@BrodieOnLinux Go to closest nature science faculty, viper the lid and ask them to take a swab and grow a culture. Been there, done that and saw the results. Feel free to see for yourself
@JRBeast18@BrodieOnLinux has a friend who contracted hepatitis from touching an item in supermarket a sick person touched. not taking any risks with the increasing amaunt of infectious diseases there is (combined with rising antiwax movment)
@JRBeast18@BrodieOnLinux take a wild guess what items people (who dont was their hands) touch in a supermarket...a hint-it is not the floor or the walls
@mothonastr1ng@BrodieOnLinux germs in nature (eating berries in the forest...) is normal. consuming something other people touched is extremly dnageorous (especially with the rise of infectous diseases)
@TurboTERF@BrodieOnLinux it may seem shallow but there is a crevice that is deeper where you cant wipe it. feel free to contaminate your drink but I will continue to use these simple and easy preventative mesures limiting my exposure to hepatitis and leptospirosis and many more diseases
@TurboTERF@BrodieOnLinux you cant wipe it as the space is so small wiping does not reach it. and washing on the road or anywhere when in the public is not possible
@mothonastr1ng@BrodieOnLinux healthy distrust to society where 15% of men do not wash their hands after using the toilet and seeing rat droppings in warehouses (where I was helping with some resreach not ocnected to the food there)
@yumiche@BrodieOnLinux with decades of shrinkflation at leaste here in central europe there is quite a lot of space left in cans (and every other packaging)
@yumiche@BrodieOnLinux you know that the liquid inside is about 1,5-2cm lower than the top of the can=anything going inside doesnt touch the liquid
the flat part going inside can be easily desingected, the ridge circling the top part of the can is imposible to clean without submerging the whole can
@realBestWank@BrodieOnLinux one of my classmated ended up with pernament aftereffects (and is on the list to liver transplant) after hepatitis he caught by touching something an infected person did. sorry but I really dont want to put my health and life in danger when I can use simple preventative mesures
@mothonastr1ng@BrodieOnLinux scared of hepatitis and leptopspirosis (the first one pretty common disease that can lead to organ failure nad death and is spread by touching objects an infected person touched) so IΒ΄m taking these simple but extremly effective ways to protect myself
