They have an outlet for their energy. I tend to seek those students out and attempt to help them find a direction.

CTE Auto Tech involves a ton of diagnostic thought to solve problems with vehicles. Spending a few minutes to allow students think creatively how an engine may fail yields some interesting ideas. Yes, it's entirely possible a failed $13 filter to ruin a $7k engine.
