@JeremyRyanSlate Special interests always end up taking an oversized role against majority rules. The results are a government that can’t get anything done and that represents no one. Eventually a crisis emerges and the people accept despotic rule
@balkanstocks Not worried about the number of clients dropping them? France and London are recent examples. There’s also a growing number of countries wanting to distance themselves from pltr and US dependence. Has me wondering
@FlamesNation Incredible player. Relentless competitor. Became the face of the franchise. The way he left the team tarnished his legacy. His behaviour after he left to other teams did more damage. Don’t care about his political views, has nothing to do with his hockey career.
@FlamesNation Trade. Need to make room with a cluttered forward group. Great player and great leader but not the age for the future. Picks are good..can’t have too many draft picks. Look at Montreal, making waves in the playoffs and still have fantastic prospects.that’s what excess picks give
@CofRedCentral Great guy..great attitude and great team player. Would like to see him in a asst coach or development role with the team. But he provides nothing on the ice. The only thing he has is a willingness to fight and he’s usually overmatched. Good luck in the future
@poutine_poirot I generally agree. The number of picks they have is very refreshing for an organization that seemingly placed little value on them in the past. The internal competition with all those picks would be beneficial, I believe. But if they can package 2 of those 2nds for a 1st..do it
@FlamesNation Another of the many times the flames traded down for more assets and ended up with lesser players that contributed next to nothing to the franchise. I still cringe whenever they trade down.
@MatchsticksCGY Intellectually I know that Vegas winning benefits the flames and I want them to win it all..not to mention Raz getting the cup. But watching the game I’m totally in on the hurricanes. Just can’t cheer for Vegas. Struggling 😀
@RyanNPike@Fan960Steinberg Solid whl player but his pro upside is limited. I’m sure he was shopped around to see if another team saw something there. Now he has to work that much harder and hope for another opportunity
@wincolumnCGY For me the only players that I wouldn’t trade are Parekh, Wolf and Gridin. Everyone else would be in the, give me a good offer and he’s yours, group. At this point in the rebuild they shouldn’t be in love with anyone that could give them futures assets
@MatchsticksCGY It’s amazing what committing to a direction does for a franchise.Creates hope.Desperately holding onto to depreciating assets in hopes of squeezing into the playoffs while living on an ideology of “just get in anything can happen” is not a plan or direction that leads to success
@DarrenWHaynes Unbelievable really. The presidents trophy curse is still alive and well. The only explanation I have for such a downfall is that their top guys are hurt more than known. Crazy. Have to love sports
@FlamesNation They definitely have to consider it. That team is built to win now and,sad to say, it’s far easier to fire a coach than make trades in today’s nhl. Great coach but just like what Vegas did, a coaching change can have big benefits
@RyanNPike At this point have to cheer for the knights to win it all so the flames get that 2028 unprotected first. Let’s hope Conroy and the scouts can pluck a good player like gridin with that late first this year
@flamesaggr Who they pick is entirely dependent on who teams pick ahead of them. Pick the best player available. If it’s a d, so be it. But if there are 2 players with an equal rating, I say take the forward. Flames need game breaking forwards desperately
