And we are off.....After a great last day of skiing with excellent piste conditions pupils have been able to apply all the skills that they have learnt this week completing some long flowing runs. We have just started our journey home after having fish and chips for dinner.

Very competitive slalom races this morning in freshly falling snow. We have just had our awards presentation from the instructors to celebrate all the pupils amazing achievement's this week. Now for packing....!!!

Now for the group slalom competition this morning in the falling snow before presentations with the instructors at dinner tonight. Part 2.

Yesterday was another day in tricky snow but all groups showed great determination and all are now adventuring around the resort and everyone doing parallel turns. We also had a fiercely fought bowling and table tennis competition in the evening. Part 1.

Tough day on the slopes yesterday with heavy, slushy snow in the afternoon. All groups still making great improvements throughout with one group of beginners now off exploring the other slopes of the resort. 2 groups had their lunch in a special place over looking a lovely valley

Second day on the slopes saw all groups advancing, with the intermediates gliding down their first red run and both beginners groups mastering their control and turning. Poor visibility today but good snow conditions.

Amazing first day skiing, weather and snow was great. Beginners completed a run on their first day which is fantastic progress. The pros explored the resort and got to some lovely viewpoints. All made it through in one piece.

We have had a busy day since we have arrived to these lovely blue skies. Everyone is now kitted out with their ski equipment, unpacking and then dinner before an early night ready for the slopes tomorrow.

We have arrived safely at the hotel to beautiful sunshine, just tucking into lunch!

The ski trip is making good progress to Obertauern, we have just set off from Calais having caught an earlier ferry.

We have just left Dover and hoping for a 2pm return to school. We will keep you updated, depending on traffic.

And that's it.....we have finished an amazing weeks skiing. All pupils have been excellent on and off the slopes. Just arrived back at the hotel for a quick wash and dinner and then we will be on and way home.

Yesterday was another sunny day. Excellent skiing by all groups showing excellent competency on the slopes, followed by a typical Austrian desert. We then went out to enjoy a pizza in a local restaurant. Looking forward to today with the slalom races first thing.

All groups have now been exploring the Austrian mountains with every pupil completing a red run. Bowling and table tennis competition tonight.

Another fantastic day! 3 groups are out exploring the pistes with the others linking turns really well. Home for a quick feed and then off swimming tonight.

We woke to this lovely sunrise this morning on the coach. Currently getting breakfast just outside Munich. Not long left!

The ski trip is off! We have just left Dover with a coach full of excited pupils....and teachers. Time for dinner and then a long journey through the night.
