Sinn Féin to move Dáil motion at earliest opportunity calling on government to Stop The Game – Joanna Byrne and Lynn Boylan

Dublin Central & Galway West have the opportunity to send a clear message to government that workers & families demand real action on cost of living to make life more affordable
The best way to do that is by voting @sinnfeinireland
This is the next step in getting rid of them altogether.

For fifty-two years, families who lost loved ones and survivors of the Dublin and Monaghan Bombings have courageously campaigned for truth and justice. Today, we send them love, support and solidarity.
The government must intensify efforts to ensure British State agencies release all information and documents in relation to the bombings.
These heartbroken families have been stonewalled for more than five decades. They deserve answers. They will never give up and we will stand with them as they continue their brave fight.
Supporting ambulance staff on the picket line in Louth this morning.
Frontline workers who save lives every day and have been left waiting years for fair recognition, proper staffing, and the implementation of the 2020 review recommendations.
This strike could and should have been averted with goodwill from Government, the HSE and NAS management.
Paramedics need a properly funded workforce and a government willing to intervene, show leadership, and resolve this long-standing dispute.
We will always stand with our ambulance service workers in their fight for respect, fair pay and safe staffing.
Lack of planning by Government and HSE on disability care services leaves families in fear – @ROMurchu
"There needs to be a sea-change from the Minister and the HSE, they are not planning properly and are stripping the humanity out of the system."

In Louth this morning myself and Ruairí Ó Murchú met with farmers, hauliers, agricultural contractors and bus drivers. People under huge pressure as this government refuses to listen. Their handling of the fuel and cost of living crisis has been disastrous. The bare minimum and half measures are not good enough. We need maximum reductions in fuel prices now!
🔥 Watch this! Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael refuse to listen to people. Arrogant and incompetent. Half measures don’t cut it. We need to see the maximum reduction in fuel prices at the pumps. The people have no confidence in this useless government. They should back their bags and go.
The government only moved because of public pressure - and even then, they fell short. The pressure must now intensify. We will bring forward our motion of no confidence in the government this week. They have to go.
This government clearly aren’t listening to the people. They haven’t taken the necessary action to make fuel affordable at the pumps. What they announced this evening fell far short. Working people left behind again. The solutions are there. They could have cut diesel by the maximum amount to prevent it being wiped out within days. They could have cut petrol further. They could have scrapped excise on home heating oil.
People have no confidence in this government. They have failed to take responsibility for a crisis that they allowed to spiral out of control. They are out of touch with the cost of living reality facing ordinary workers and families, with carers and disabled people.
In Dundalk for #FuelProtest
Farmers, farm contractors, hauliers, bus operators are continuing to protest to get a reasonable break from the excessive cost of fuel for themselves & all those under severe pressure.
They are demanding government action to cut fuel taxes & deliver real support for workers, families & local businesses.
People are more determined than ever to have their voices heard & need to see action & respect from the Irish government that has been disgraceful through this crisis.
@sinnfeinireland will keep standing with you. We will fight your corner until ordinary people are put first.
UPDATE: Fuel protesters were turned away from the meeting
Madness from government
It’s like they don’t want the protests to end
Something has to change.
Sinn Féin Leader @MaryLouMcDonald today announced a nationwide programme of Easter Rising commemorations and called on people across Ireland to take part in events that honour the past and renew the drive for a united, equal Republic.

I condemn this latest appalling attack on UNIFIL. My sympathies to the families of those killed.
Respect for peacekeepers should be a bottom line - all parties to conflict countries should cease attacks
Relieved Irish personnel safe. Solidarity with them & all peacekeepers
Tough night in Prague
Serious effort put in by Ireland - just didn’t get across the line

End the Fuel Rip Off
People need real action - no half measures
Every day Fianna Fáil & Fine Gael delay, workers and families pay the price
@sinnfeinireland will keep the pressure on to cut taxes on petrol, diesel, & home heating oil & deliver real cost of living support to make life more affordable
🇮🇪 Comhghairdeas Kate O’Connor! A Bronze medal for Ireland! The first Irishwoman to win two World Indoor Athletics Championships medals. History made. What an incredible achievement! 👏
