Brooms out, sleeves rolled up! 🧹 Yesterday at MUBS Small Gate, @buzeki_sharifah, @BenonKigenyi , Dr. @sarahkzalwango , local leaders, residents and I joined hands to keep Nakawa clean.
Weyonje is a responsibility for all of us.
Today, together with city leaders @NubianBukenAli Mayor Nakawa, @NalukwagoJudith Executive Secretary for Health, residents, and partners, we took the Weyonje Community Clean-Up to @OfficialMubs "Small Gate" in Nakawa Division. Side by side, we cleaned our surroundings, promoted proper waste management, and strengthened community awareness.
A clean Kampala begins with each one of us, and I was deeply humbled by the overwhelming gesture of celebrating a personal milestone in life during this effort.
Thank you, team! Let’s keep moving forward in our quest to make Kampala a truly livable city.
Kampala is catching a fresh vibe! Cleaner streets, better walkways and visible improvements across the city.
You can actually feel the difference. Big credit to @KCCAUG for making Kampala cleaner, smoother and more accessible for everyone.

I love this new look of Kampala ❤️🌳
The sacrifices and hard work by @KCCAUG teams, led by @Buzeki_Sharifah, are paying off. The city is looking greener and more beautiful every day
As we evacuate garbage heaps that spewed all over the City after the overwhelming response to the inaugural National Cleaning Day ,you may easily be disrupted from the effortless and glorious cherry blossoms in the City of Kampala.
Behold the sweet sight of Kimathi Avenue
Dear Kampalans, as promised our teams are still on ground all over the City evacuating waste from different points arising from today's National Cleaning Day.
We appreciate your patience as we work around the clock to rid our streets and communities of waste.
Bear with us for any noise that might arise from movement of evacuation trucks in the late hours of the night. Evacuation is continuing throught the night and tomorrow

Thank you all for the feedback on the places that have not yet been cleared.
We are still in the field evacuating waste until the last pack of gabbage reaches Buyala waste management site. Continue giving us feedback on areas that have not been cleared for our teams to move there.
Thank you for your feedback, @Mercy_k01, and for caring about your city.
We are on ground with our team in Gaba, evacuating every pile of garbage to the Buyala Management Site.
