“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”
~John 14:26🕊
“Profanity is the parlance of the fool. Why curse when there is such a magnificent language with which to discourse?"
-Theodore Roosevelt
I’ve thought about this a lot lately as I see more and more public figures using profanity to make a point. It seems like they’re trying to demonstrate passion or attract a younger audience. Whatever the case, I think it lessens the impact of what they’re trying to say. There is a time and a place for profanity and it isn’t in public or in professional conversation. It is indeed the “parlance of the fool.”
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God,and went to God; he rose from supper, and laid aside his garments, and took a towel and girded himself. After that he poured water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples feet..Jn.13
Trees are 95% air. That solid trunk? Built almost entirely from carbon dioxide they pulled out of the atmosphere. We’re literally walking past carbon-capture machines that turn pollution into wood, oxygen, and shade for free. Plant more of them. Nature wrote the perfect code.
“Because He loves me,” says the LORD,
“I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he knows My name. He will call on Me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.”
~Psalm 91:14-16🕊
