Yesterday I had the most insane views of Wallcreeper. I simply sat by the base of the cliff and waited as it worked it's loop. After a few hours it appeared in front of me and absolutely gave itself up. What a bird. Taken in the Catalan Pyrenees.

The sonic world of nocturnal migration is fascinating. It shines a light on the unknown & lets you hear birds in an out of place context. Here is a Coot migrating along the Ballycotton cliffs @ 00:25am. Hear the crashing waves & echo of its calls bounce off the cliffs as it goes.
