The Senate approved a bill by unanimous consent a proposal by Sen John Cornyn to end the special treatment members of Congress get at airports that allows them to bypass TSA screening checkpoints. Now Democratic members of Congress who won't fund DHS will have to wait in line just like the average American citizen. With the shutdown, the wait is 3 to 4 hours.
