14 years and counting! And we are just getting started! There is nothing on Earth or beyond that I wouldn’t do for this woman. I am the best version of myself because of her. Happy Anniversary to the backbone of our family and the love of my life!

Thoughts…?
Really happy for John Calipari and his Arkansas team. As much as anyone, he never has forgotten where he came from. I love that about him. Moon Township/Pittsburgh. I guarantee he will celebrate with Police Station Pizza in Ambridge real soon. https://t.co/BNhR6dxIPX
While we wait for news on the Steelers QB, read this excellent column by Ron Cook on Craig Wolfley and his old pal Tunch Ilkin https://t.co/SL15ErVXxe via @PittsburghPG
One more thing about Craig Wolfley. Nothing ever shook his faith in God. Not losing Tunch Ilkin, his best friend. Not losing his brother. Nothing. He absolutely, truly believed he would see both in heaven. But why does that reunion have to be so soon? https://t.co/BNhR6dygFv
Every time I saw Craig after Dale’s death, I asked him about his mom. He would just give me a big hug. He appreciated that so much. He would say, “She already lost another son. She considered Tunch to be a son.” All of this is so sad. https://t.co/BNhR6dxIPX
My heart breaks for Craig Wolfley and his family. One of my and so many others’ all-time favorites. I pray for his poor mother. She had to bury another son, Dale, in October, 2023. Now Craig. Life can be so cruel. https://t.co/BNhR6dxIPX
Charles Barkley says teams should still visit the White House and show respect to the president, regardless of who is in office
“I don’t care who the president is. He’s the President of the United States. It’s bothered me, the last 10 years, they’re like, ‘Well, I’m not going because this certain person is president.’ Dude, it’s the President of the United States. Even though I disagree with President Trump on some things, if I met him, I would still give him the respect and dignity he deserves. We can disagree, but it bothers me when these teams don’t want to go to the White House. I’m just disappointed…we got so divided. Where did we get to as a country when we’re like, ‘We’re not going to the White House, we don’t like who’s in there.’ That’s just stupid.”

I talked about my Florida hangout today on 93.7 The Fan with @JoeStarkey1. The Lazy Flamingo is a terrific place. The managers, Chad and Matt, are even better. They have made me feel at home in Fort Myers.
I can’t believe my baby is 30 today. Wasn’t she born just yesterday? I’m so blessed to be her dad. She is my world. She is and always will be the reason I get up every morning. She makes me proud every minute of every day. Happy Birthday, Taylor. I love you with all my heart.
Lost my mother four years ago today. She almost made 98. Taylor and I were blessed to have her for so long. What we wouldn’t give for one more batch of her snickerdoodles and chocolate chip cookies. We love you, Ruth. We miss you every day.
I went to Northwestern. I spent a lot of time at Wrigley. There was nothing better than a dog from Ray’s Bleacher Bar and a cold Old Style. That was a lifetime ago. I miss those days.
"When I’m sitting down the first base line at the "Friendly Confines" with a Maxwell Street Polish in the other hand, there ain’t a beer on earth I’d rather have."

Old Style Beer
Lost the Chicago Cubs beer sponsorship to giant Anheuser-Busch in 2014, but it’s still known to many as Chicago’s beer.
I don’t tweet much, but I couldn’t let this go. I had a great time/dinner tonight in Naples with my old partner, @JoeStarkey1, and his wonderful family. I don’t miss work, but I miss him. I am honored to call him my friend.
