@SwiftieDad43 Well, sounds like family though, but the dysfunctional type.. when if you'd confront them, they would have a way of making it your responsibility/fault instead of theirs, or just simply sum up the times they did give you attention, so as to say you have no right to complain

@butdoitanyway I find that reading is a great way to tolerate lentghy meals with young kids lol! Also, while I'm cooking and have told the kids to not interrupt me in the kitchen.. Really, replace any moment you might scroll through social media out of boredom and there's a lot of time to read!

@HelloImCindy Oh yeah, in addition, I've read 'Foster' by Claire Keeghan, and I thought it was beautiful. A short story, which has a lot to it. I really loved how not much is being said, whereas in fact a lot is being told, and I loved the rural Irish setting.

@DieudonneeW @biomaatschappij #Betekenisvol is dan dat we hoe dan ook zorgen dat #wetenschap toegankelijk is voor publiek (ongeacht of iets catchy is). Voorkomen van ivoren toren/silo's. Deel vh publiek zal het uit zichzelf zoeken, maar dan is er imho alsnog toegevoegde betekenis naast sec entertainment.

@DieudonneeW Interessante analyse. Nog een vorm van betekenisvolle scicom: (lagen in)de maatschappij op de hoogte houden van wtsch ontwikkelingen (zoals door @biomaatschappij). Die wtsch hoeft niet direct actionable te zijn, maar kan bv langetermijn invloed zijn op beleid of technologie.
