All the best to those competing in Zurich and other meets & thanks to all of you who took time to say hi while I was in Budapest.
And to you @joshk97, from one World Champion in 1500m to another, a big congratulations on your race. Welcome to the 1500m Gold medalist club!
I'm so proud to have represented Kenya at my 5th consecutive World Champs. But it's clear I've not been 100% fit at recent races. Thankfully, after assesment & treatment a niggle affecting my knee is being managed well with 2/3 weeks rest being advised.

On my last day in Kenya, I stopped by the Athletics Kenya Nationals at Nyayo Stadium & had a brief chat w/ coach @CoachBOuma on nearly a decade of work with @tim_cheruiyot, how he’s seen the 1500m change + all the recent WR talk.
