UPDATE: It appears the protest has ended. Students tell me they plan to address this topic once again at the district’s next board meeting set for May 8.

Right now dozens of Plattsmouth students are protesting a recent decision to remove books from the school’s library. Many focus on LGBTQ and racial topics.

The district calls the decision to remove them “reasonable”
