According to UNRA, 10 of the 12 investigated employees linked to Hamas so far: 7 were teachers, 1 was a school counselor, and 1 was a social worker.

Allegations include one employee kidnapping an Israeli woman, another distributing ammunition, and involvement in the Oct 7 massacre at a kibbutz.

UN Secretary-General vows to hold staff involved in 'terror' accountable, amid a plea to continue UNRWA funding.

UNRWA has stated if funding is not resumed, they will not be able to continue services in the region after the end of February.

The few countries vowing continued support:

EGYPT FM: "UNRWA that Egypt fully supports the agency’s role in the challenges it faces."

NORWAY FM: "We will continue to fund UNRWA and I urge other donors to think about the consequences of cutting funding to the agency at this time."

SCOTLAND PM: Scotland to Al Jazeera: We opposed and will oppose stopping funding for UNRWA, and the people of Gaza need immediate relief

SPAIN FM: "Madrid will not suspend its funding to UNRWA."
