@GratefulDead@txsinatrafan Happy Birthday Bill ! Met you at a book signing about eleven years ago. Went to my first show in 1972. Miss you guys but we’ll always have the music ! Stay well.
@bmadden1954@Jimfrombaseball John was one of a kind. Part of the sound track of Yankees fans lives for decades. On the Mt. Rushmore of Yankees broadcasters with Mel Allen, Red Barber, and Phil Rizzuto. “ Bern Baby Bern”. “ All Rise “ for John. RIP.
@EliManning@BigBlueVCR You were great Eli. Will never forget that pass to Plaxico to beat the Patriots. Best moment ever. I’ve been a Giants fan since the days of Charlie Conerly and you belong in the HOF.
@Jimfrombaseball Steve Dalkowski may have been the fastest pitcher from that era. Absolute legend. Drinking , the night life, and lack of control on the mound did him in. Ran with Bo Belinsky for awhile. Only got as high as AAA. What could have been.
@MikeLupica So well done. I remember that Olympics like it was yesterday. The joy and patriotism we all felt has never been duplicated since. As Mike Eruzione said we can use another 1980 now. Amen.
@bunsenbernerbmd I don’t live in Minnesota but Thank you . Always love your posts. Great pups ! Makes me smile like our dog did. And know that Millions of Americans stand with Canada.
@KSoltisAnderson Dogs are a gift to us. Our best friends. Noble creatures. Every day I still think about our good boy who passed peacefully 4 years ago. RIP Wally. Now you can run and jump all you want.
@BobWeir This one really hurts. Attended my first Dead show in Hartford in August, 1972, and my last show at the Sphere in May, 2025. Bob was the one constant over all the years. He is irreplaceable, but the music lives on . I know you Rider ! See you on the other side Bobby.
@kdino9 Kevin , you represented Hartford and the Whalers so well back in the day. I was sitting in the second row from the Ice when you went around Larry Robinson and scored the winning goal in that memorable playoff game.. Incredible. You will win your battle with Cancer. Stay strong.
@ringostarrmusic Hoist up the John B Sails. I can hear music. Thank you Brian. Will never forget being at the 50th anniversary shows at Mohegan Sun and Bethel Woods. Your music will live forever. And I hope you’re with your brothers now. Rest in Peace.
@GlobeBobRyan Agree 100%. I was there in 2019. Incredibly moving experience. My Mother’s cousin was a US Army medic who died on D Day. Those guys were the heroes who saved the world. Can’t thank them enough for their bravery and sacrifice.
@nelsondemille@nytimes One of my all time favorite authors. Always looked forward to his next book. Had the opportunity to meet Nelson and ask some questions at a book signing / Q&A several years ago. He was very gracious and nice to everyone. RIP to a great writer.
