It appears Maxwell Sangulani Chikumbutso purchased an electric vehicle and presented it to President Mnangagwa at the State House, falsely claiming it as his own invention. The engine of the Kaiyi X3 Pro EV is identical to the original model, with no modifications made.

President Mnangagwa appears to be a magnet for attracting questionable individuals. Doesn't he have a department responsible for fact-checking and screening out fraudulent claims?
