To enslave a people, you need to change the laws.
In order to impose the unitarist vision of Azikwe which favours the nomadic culture of Igbos in the first republic, Ironsi enacted the Unitary decree.
To keep the Uthman Dan Fodio structure intact in the first republic, Fulani intellectuals brought Sharia legal jurisprudence to the Northwest and crushed Hausa nationalism.
In order to expand Caliphate interests in Nigeria and the South, some folks were sponsored to enact Sharia laws across the South.
When Igbo nationalists wanted to expand in Nigeria, they wanted indigenous rights scrapped and replaced with residency rights.
Laws are not just laws, those who make your laws determine your future and destiny.
Finally, the world including European Union has recognized Fulani Militants as one of the groups slaughtering Innocent Nigerians.
That’s a step in the right direction.
The art of propaganda…. Peter Obi as a reincarnation of Zik.
In the 1930’s and 1940’s, a mass nationalist movement and agitation against British rule peeked in Nigeria…. Two factions were involved in mobilization and organization of the mass movement…. NYM and the labor unions… among the leading members of the Labor union at the time was Michael Imoudu who led the union strikes of the 1940’s.
Zik was uncomfortable that the center stage was not on him….To address this, he went on his usual propaganda and claimed that his West African Pilot Newspaper intercepted a wireless message exposing a plot of the British Colonial government to assassinate him.
He further stated that it was because he was fighting for the people with his vocal criticism of the colonial government and support for the labor unions. Zik fled to Onitsha and claimed he went into hiding to escape assassination attempt…. (One wonders if Onitsha at the time was beyond the reach of the colonial government lol)
The event elevated Zik into a false hero…. He was the man who was supposedly fighting for the people so much that the colonial government supposedly got desperate to get rid of him…. This incident incited and swelled the ranks of the radical Zikist movement and Zik was able to use the propaganda for a catalyst to fame and national consciousness as a man fighting for the average people. (while he was busy writing a blue print of his Igbo supremacy agenda and consolidating his people under one union)
The British government denied there was any claim on his life…. NYM and other contemporaries also claimed Zik fabricated the story ( He never provided evidence of the intercepted wireless message)
Fast forward…. Peter Obi shows himself a classic reincarnation of Zikism…. His false and dangerous messianic personae is fast fading off and with everyone seeing through his lack of depths, constant interview goofs and lack of strong cognition, he wants to get people distracted and incited through a show of sympathy…. Very much as Zik, he wants to deceive average citizens to recreate his image as a man whose life is in danger because he is standing for the people.
This is an old Zikist playbook… No one was after Zik’s life in the 1940’s and no one is after Peter Obi…. Obi is simply a student of Eastern politics of Zik and adopting traits of his predecessors.
See executive committee members of NBA Lagos vs Executive members of NBA Nnewi (CS)
Lagos dominated by Igbos while Nnewi dominated by Igbos.
Where do Lagos indigenes go to become NBA committee members?
Segun Sowunmi is speaking facts here...
Check the number of votes Kano gave Tinubu in 2023, our people were speaking English in Lagos.
When we decided to do a purely Yorùbá march for Tinubu, some people close to the president said we should include other tribes 😂
I replied them; did Ijaw include other tribes when they marched for GEJ?
Did Hausa-Fulani include other tribes when they marched for Buhari?
I support everything said in this video, any region that gives the president more votes should get the most juicy appointments.
