They're all based on bigger datasets than just the artists own work. Scraped datasets.

Or else, how would the AI model know what, say, a banana looks like, if the artist it's based on never drew a banana?

@Oversleep_Sheep @Ayreiiii So, even a model they 'create' themselves is still based on scraped data that LLMs like ChatGPT use, to give the model a basic understanding of English writing and grammar.

Pokédex entries alone aren't enough to train it to write cohesive sentences. I hope that makes sense 🙈

@Oversleep_Sheep @Ayreiiii 'Creating your own AI' is only half of the process, the model will still rely on a dataset of scraped data (like ChatGPT does) to be able to write cohesively.

i.e. If the model was only trained on existing Pokédex entries, then it could only use words mentioned in the Pokédex.
