There is room for confusion between the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (also CSIS), the former a centrist US think tank that produces reports on terrorism, the latter the Canadian organization that thinks critics of gender ideology are a threat, both sharing the same initialism.

To my knowledge, based on the Canadian CSIS's annual reports, Canadian CSIS has not addressed the threat of Antifa, and only rarely addresses leftist causes, and even then in the context of lists of varied causes that tend to obscure left extremism.

Leftist and Antifa violence is a problem internationally, but here in Canada it has been ignored by both the mainstream media and the security state.

So that's CSIS in the USA not Canada's intelligence service.

I know for a fact from reporting on extremists that the Canadian statistics do not include much of the violence from leftist extremists because I have filed police reports that the Crown did not lay charges or prosecute.

I have been assaulted by leftists while street reporting more times than I can count and my number of assaults is dwarfed by @ThevoiceAlexa and her colleague @guillaum3roy, who have many of their assaults on-camera.

Antifa swarmed commentator @acormierd about a month ago and a Radio-Canada (French CBC) reporter happened to be there to interview him when it happened. A month later, they were presumed to have set his vehicle on fire. I interviewed him about this, in French.

And there are also issues with the category reporting of statistics to begin with even in the USA

For example, frequently in American statistics, Muslim extremists are categorized as right wing violence, even though they almost always exclusively align with the Democrats and socialist parties throughout the West and much of the Muslim world.

So it's an obvious dishonest mistake-on-purpose to make the association between right wing politics and Islam, but it's conflated in most of the data that I've looked at.

Then there are examples like the recent Montréal shooter. He was a revolutionary Communist but will likely be classified as right-wing because he espoused some Incel-associated views.

Every year wildfires in Canada release more carbon dioxide than any carbon capture project can sequester. That's besides destroy communities and businesses.

Instead of investing in wildfire fighting capabilities to protect the environment and Canadians, the Liberals will spend $20B+ on a project that will do neither.
