Adversity can hit at any given time, it’s how you handle it that speaks of who you are as a person. Drue is the perfect example of this. He was having an insane start to his college career when injury struck. He used his experience to speak about how he overcame adversity.

Laurent is the epitome of who we want to be like in such a time of uncertainty and hardship. When we met up, we got talking about dancing and how we’ve always wanted to learn. He was so quick to offer us lessons and teach us how to get the moves like jagger.

These dudes were absolutely killing it. Doing what they love despite the frigid elements. Having such passion about something regardless of the conditions or obstacles. Norway is filled with incredible scenes and we can’t get enough of them.

At Rooted we love traveling especially if it means we get the privilege of experiencing some of God’s most beauitful creations. Norway is one of those incredible places that feels like it only exists in movies.

Dramatic landscapes like this are the reason we love travel photography so much. @NCBrownPhotos especially makes us feel as though we were there in the photo when we gaze into the dreamy vibes of these scenes that almost don’t feel real.

The Achuar have a value that says that they are of the Amazon, not living in it. They coexist beautifully with nature. Taking a step back from modern life and into an ancient civilization makes us value the most beautiful things this world has to offer.

Stepping into a culture that is so rich in their spirituality, dreams, and understanding of the community of their environment is an incredible eye opener. Spending a week in Kapawi takes us out of the modern world and into the incredibly sophisticated world of the Achuar Nation.

To best learn about a culture, one must invest time into it. You need to experience the rituals, try the food, spend time with the natives, and appreciate the local customs. @NCBrownPhotos did just that and created a video series on the Achuar Indigenous Nation in Kapawi.
