Labor is owned by people, but the Land is God's.

Happy Labor Day! While Adam was placed in the Garden of Eden to "work it and take care of it" (Genesis 2:15), laborious "toil" was introduced as a consequence of sin (Genesis 3:16-19). However, the land laws were designed to give relief and Jesus was the fulfillment of these.
