@AdenikeOmolar11 Which mumu beauty is that? All I'm seeing is a mockery of our culture. Amala, gbegiri, and ewedu are some of the richest delicacies of the yoruba people. Do justice to it by placing it on how it's supposed to be, Bikonu...
Best news I have heard so far this year. I respect you more, my Excellency, sir. You never seize to amaze us more. God bless you more for this, sir π
I am pleased to announce that, after extensive consultations with stakeholders of the Kwara PDP and our leading gubernatorial aspirants, we have arrived at a consensus candidate to fly the flag of our great party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
That candidate is Engr. Kale Kawu.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the other aspirants who, in the supreme interest of our party and state, have graciously stepped down to support this consensus. It is this spirit of unity and selflessness that will carry us to victory.
I wish all our members, delegates, and teeming supporters a successful, peaceful, and orderly outing at tomorrowβs gubernatorial primaries.
@babaidris090@bukolasaraki Ko siro nibe... His leadership is even out of this world. Havard self to small. That brain is more than Havard. Simply out of this world! π«‘
I am glad to be part of the history! That period was not an easy one for those of us who stood with HIM! But we stood, and we conquered! Alhamdulillah π @bukolasaraki@babaidris090
@bukolasaraki Hmm... sorry about that, sir. But you guys don't really have a chance against Man City in the first place. But you move like you said π«‘π
As we mark Eid al-Fitr, I join the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and across the globe to thank Almighty Allah (SWT) for granting us the strength to complete the holy month of Ramadan.
I spent the final days of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia for Umrah, where I dedicated that sacred time to prayer for the peace and progress of my home state, Kwara, and our nation as a whole.
I am well aware that many Nigerians are facing really tough times, but we must hold on to hope. What binds us together as a people is stronger than anything that seeks to divide us, and there is good reason to remain confident that better days lie ahead.
As we celebrate, let us also remember those away from their families, especially our men and women in uniform serving across the country under difficult, and often dangerous, conditions. We pray for their safety and for victory over all who threaten our peace.
May Almighty Allah (SWT) accept our prayers.
Eid Mubarak.
I received the news of the passing of the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh (Dr.) Muhammad Bashir Salihu, with deep sorrow and a profound sense of loss. He was an institution whose life was defined by scholarship, devotion to Allah (SWT), and selfless service to the Ummah.
He served diligently as the spiritual head of Ilorin and as Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Ulama, Alfas and Imams, guiding generations with wisdom, clarity, and humility.
From the pulpit, his sonorous voice consistently called the faithful to righteousness, peace, discipline, and communal harmony. His sermons and teachings further strengthened Ilorinβs historic reputation as a bastion of Islamic theology, jurisprudence, moderation, and intellectual excellence.
A worthy heir to a noble lineage of Islamic scholarship, Sheikh (Dr.) Muhammad Bashir Salihu embodied the finest values of Ilorinβs spiritual heritage. His life reflected piety, loyalty, diligence, and a deep respect for knowledge.
Beyond his role as Chief Imam, he was a teacher, mentor, and father-figure to many, shaping minds and character through learning and exemplary conduct. His leadership fostered unity within the Ilorin Emirate and strengthened the harmonious relationship between the Emirate Council and the Islamic community.
On a personal level, I will never forget the father-and-son relationship we shared. His prayers, counsel, and moral support during critical moments in my public service remain unforgettable.
My family and I, like my late father, Oloye (Dr.) Abubakar Olusola Saraki, held him in the highest esteem for his integrity and unwavering commitment to the Ummah.
As we mourn this great loss, I urge the Ilorin Emirate and the Muslim Ummah to take solace in the enduring legacy he leaves behindβa life devoted to Allah (SWT), service to humanity, and the nurturing of future generations. His works and teachings will continue to inspire generations yet unborn.
I pray Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the departed scholar, accept his decades of service as acts of ibadah, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and comfort the Ilorin Emirate, his family, and the entire Muslim Ummah. Ameen.
@bukolasaraki Inna llilahi wahina illahi rojiun. May almighty Allah be pleased with his soul. It is indeed a great loss to us all in Ilorin and its environs!
