I never would have thought the latest Spider-Man movie would reach over $900 million in four days😭. What is going on? Why is everyone going to see this movie? I’m a Marvel fan, and I don’t quite understand why, but I’m thrilled by the news. Marvel is at the pinnacle of cinema.
The MCU now holds the 3 biggest opening weekends of all time globally.
1️⃣ - ‘Avengers: Endgame’ ($1.2B)
2️⃣ - ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ ($927M)
3️⃣ - ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ ($640M)
I had kept a few visuals of *Black Shard*, and honestly, I thought it was fantastic—with all those signs and symbols you can interpret however you like. These aren't wallpapers; they’re just actual in-game screenshots I took along the way.
It's hard to say which one is my favorite. Probably *Darwin's Paradox*, because the octopus is just too cute, though *Black Shard* is a strange experience involving the Ophanim that I really enjoy.
All the recent games I've played were excellent. I can recommend them all without exception. For details on the games, check Steam. The soundtrack for *Milk Outside a Bag of Milk Outside a Bag of Milk* seems to feature the kind of dark ambient style I absolutely love.
You really need a reliable income stream, and AI isn't going to provide that. To me, AI is just a way to earn some extra cash alongside a steady, reliable income. There’s no such thing as easy money.
Let’s be honest: nobody actually wants content that is 100% AI-generated. The only people unhappy with this new EU law are those who were using AI to make money by churning out massive numbers of prompts; they’re upset because they’re facing the prospect of losing that income.
That’s the problem with AI: you don’t own anything. If Claude or Grok were to shut down or change their models tomorrow, you’d lose it all. Personally, I think trying to make money with AI in the long run is a bad idea.
It’s interesting to see how people from other countries are reacting. Also, one could always check the official EU website to see exactly when content is classified as AI-generated versus not 😅.
Same issue with Spotify, which also had to remove a lot of AI-generated music. But we aren't asking the right question:"Why is there so much fake video+music created by AI?" As I said, the problem with today's society is that you get paid based on the number of views you generate
If you were to ban monetization for content that is 100% AI-generated, you would see a sharp drop in these videos. We actually saw this happen when Elon changed the monetization model on X; now, only the original tweet earns money.
And that’s what works in France now: either luxury brands, small niche brands, or the second-hand market. The middle ground has disappeared. The country has become so poor. So, it’s no surprise that people don’t go out anymore. Personally, I prefer buying online now.
Honestly, I used to really enjoy going out shopping, but those days are over. Since Covid, many shopping malls no longer house stores selling new goods; instead, they are filled with shops selling second-hand or pre-owned items.
I have a lot to do in August, mostly administrative tasks. I don't even know if I'll manage it all. I'm about to do something that will really makes me bad and mess with my head, so wish me luck for my health 😔.
In my case, I fall under the exceptions, so I don't need to label it; however, it remains to be seen how the "human review process" will be justified in the long run. If a human edits a text by changing just one or two lines, is that AI-generated or human-made?
That’s a good thing, but honestly, who is actually going to do it? And how will it be penalized if it isn't disclosed? Too many questions arise. Also, I really recommend checking the rules to see exactly when your work is considered to require AI labeling.
