MARCOS ATTACKS DUTERTE LEGACY, CALLS ON FILIPINOS TO CHOOSE AGAINST TREASON

In a fiery speech at the launch of the administration's midterm election slate in the Marcos dynatic stronghold of Ilocos Norte, President Marcos Jr. attacked the legacy of the Duterte family and narrated a sharp contrast between his candidates vs that of the Dutertes.

Pres. Marcos told the crowd that his 'Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas' candidates were not involved in the bloodshed of the Duterte Drug War. He then proceeded to list various failures of the Duterte family including; the mass scale corruption and failure to respond to the COVID pandemic, collaborating with China in the face of their aggression against Philippine territorial claims, covering up and tolerating the rampant sex abuse of cult leader Apollo Quiboloy (with him implying the Dutertes were the altar servers of a false prophet).

Marcos also reminded people of how the Duterte family cultivated the rise of crime-ridden Chinese ran gaming operations in the Philippines and how Rodrigo Duterte fantasized about being a province of China, saying that the proud and independent Filipino people have turned a page from the years of Duterte's bloodshed.
