Russian infantry were ordered into the open by their commanders to wave flags for propaganda purposes, exposing their position in the process. They were subsequently eliminated by Ukrainian drone operators.
Russia launched a missile strike on Dnipro, targeting infrastructure. Rescue operations are still underway at the site. All emergency services are involved, helping people with everything they need. Tragically, five people have been confirmed killed as of now. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Twenty-nine people were wounded in the attack.
Russia also struck Zaporizhzhia today, targeting an ordinary passenger minibus. Three lives have been lost in this drone attack. My condolences. Six others were wounded, including a child. In Nikopol, the Russians carried out a double-tap strike on first responders and a fire engine. They also attacked energy infrastructure in the Sumy, Odesa, and Chernihiv regions, and launched strikes on Kherson and the Kharkiv region.
It is very important to counter this Russian terror. People need greater protection from such horrific attacks. Above all, we need anti-ballistic capabilities. It is essential that Europe is as active as possible in developing its own anti-ballistic defense – its own systems and missiles. The sooner we have more of these capabilities, the more lives we will be able to save.
Vladimir Putin admitted that Russia is experiencing “problems” in its war with Ukraine as Kyiv’s drone strikes destroyed more oil depots on Sunday.

If Putin rejects President Zelenskyy’s terms for a ceasefire, Russia may want to enjoy what’s left of its oil industry — because in a month or so, there won’t be much of it left. 🔥🔥

Ukrainian attack drones hit multiple power substations in Russian-occupied Crimea overnight, causing scattered outages.
Ukrainian drones have targeted Crimean power infrastructure nearly every night over the past week.
Multi-hour long gas lines reported across western Russia this weekend as refinery shutdowns caused by Ukrainian drone strikes continue to bite.
Seen here, hundreds waiting in line at a gas station in Anapa, Krasnodar Krai.
I'd like to see analysis estimating much these fuel shortages are costing the Russian economy through lost working hours spent sitting in day long queues, delayed logistics, and lost production. I have a feeling it would be significant.
The late John McCain once said Russia was a gas station masquerading as a country, and thanks to Ukraine, it has run out of gas.
Putin today announced Russia was dipping into its reserves of 1.7 million tonnes of petrol, which is about the amount Germany consumes in a month.
🔥Ukraine carried out another long-range overnight operation, hitting two oil refineries inside Russia.
One in the Krasnodar region and another in the Yaroslavl region, around 700 km from the Ukrainian border.
Happy Constitution Day to everyone defending Ukraine, on the battlefield and beyond. 🇺🇦
Among the unlucky Russian oil infrastructure facilities targeted by Ukraine's drone barrages overnight, the Slavneft-YANOS refinery in Yaroslavl, one of Russia's largest oil refineries with annual processing capacity of 15 million tons and at a distance of 700km from Ukraine.
Approximately the 5th largest in the country in terms of processing capacity, this facility has been a frequent recipient of Ukrainian strikes.
Russia lies about absolutely everything, turning deception into a core state policy.
With a regime built entirely on constant fabrications, how could we ever trust a single word they say again?
Russia lied about the "separatists" in Eastern Ukraine back in 2014. They claimed they were just local rebels when it was actually the Russian army leading the charge. Back then, many in the West seriously argued they weren't Russian troops, but everyone knows the truth now.
They shamelessly lied about downing the Malaysian Airlines plane. Today, the world knows with absolute certainty that it was a Russian Buk anti-air system that downed it.
They spent an entire year moving mass amounts of troops to the border while explicitly promising they had no plans of attacking Ukraine. They maintained that exact lie until the very last day before launching a full-scale invasion, followed by immediate lies about why they were attacking.
When they got decisively defeated around Kyiv, they lied again, calling their chaotic retreat a "gesture of goodwill." A year later, they even changed that lie into a brand new one, claiming they withdrew because Ukraine was about to sign a peace deal in Istanbul.
Everyone knows Russia would never withdraw pre-emptively before any papers are signed. They didn't leave out of kindness or diplomacy. They simply got defeated.
Since then, they have just been repeating the same old fabrications, proving there is zero reason to trust anything as long as this regime is in power
Ukrainian defenders marked Constitution Day with precision.
Overnight, long-range sanctions reached two Russian oil refineries — Slavyansk in Krasnodar, ~300 km out, and one in Yaroslavl region, ~700 km from our border.
Every strike weakens Russia's war machine — and brings peace closer.
