@MinnOrchia There are gender neutral toilets which can be used. Ultimately, this is not an issue for women to resolve. The law has always been the same, some people have misinterpreted it and erroneously led others to believe they had rights to access spaces which they did not.
Men are so terrifying that men who say they are women must be given sanctuary from them. But women who don’t want men in their lavatories are pearl-clutching bigots. Got that everyone?
@bindelj 5 Then, bizarrely, in around 2015 our own organisations turned against us. They started to pretend that men could be women, and it broke everything. My own moment of revelation was being told that I was a bigot because I said I wouldn’t have sex with “a woman with a penis”…

This letter in today’s Irish Times is magnificent. Please read and share
Sir, – Micheál Martin’s hysterical over-reaction to the Israeli detention of Irish citizens participating in the Sumud flotilla embarrasses Ireland on the international stage yet again. These people were not innocent holidaymakers suddenly snatched at sea, but political provocateurs who desperately sought arrest and detention by Israeli forces. This event should be treated as the publicity stunt that it was.
The real injured parties here are the ordinary Israeli and Irish taxpayers who have to pay for the arrest and repatriation of these middle-class narcissists. The best way for this Government to stop the genuinely shocking humiliation and mistreatment of Irish citizens would be to focus on the homelessness crisis in Ireland, or the ever-growing hospital waiting list, and ignore the self-indulgent gimmicks of the anti-Israeli lobby. – Yours, etc,

This. If it was about wanting somewhere safe and private to pee, third spaces would be fine. It’s not. It’s about claiming territory, validation, and winning.
Dominating, intimidating and humiliating women is the point.
Acclaimed Hungarian Jewish director László Nemes just dropped a truth bomb at Cannes: “There’s an orgy of antisemitism, an absolute, shameless orgy of antisemitism, overtaking the West.”
His 2015 masterpiece Son of Saul — a harrowing film about a Sonderkommando at Auschwitz — won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and the Cannes Grand Prix.
Today? He says it “wouldn’t even make the Oscar shortlist.” Because “of the politicization of cinemas, because anything that’s Jewish is now considered . . .nobody would touch it with a 10-foot pole.”
This is where we are. Jews are being erased from the stories of their own genocide while Hollywood and the cultural elite cheer. The entertainment industry’s antisemitic purge is real — and it’s accelerating.
We must call it out. Every single time. Thanks László Nemes for doing so at the risk of your own career.
