@yami___78 It's all subjective. I've been singing No Rules in the shower since the studio version was released - already loved the song long before he hatched out of an egg!
@adventure_ali_@tpenta@HometoBilo@barriecassidy That's right - you are only born a citizen if one of your parents was a permanent resident at the time. Asylum seekers, tenporary workers and students - their children have no automatic status in Australia :-(
@MRMV84@AdamMGrant As someone who has been "in the wrong environments and people", I'm very happy to have spent the last 3 years avoiding them entirely :-P We're all different, but I will always choose to be fully remote.
@MRMV84@AdamMGrant As long as that flexibility includes the option for an individual to be fully-remote. We don't all *gain* energy from in-person interactions ;-)
@DerekCa90862431 @siberianmi @AdamMGrant It's the "rarely" bit that I would argue has now changed. Sure, some will always prefer to meet in person - I know one person who has quit her job because she hates working from home - but there are now more of us who have figured out the 'trick' to remote work and are thriving.
@JackPhi04042252 @Jones2Alison @LizJarvisUK@BBCNews Well, its confirmed cases are rising (granted slower than the UK); its vaccination rollout remains very slow and the proportion of cases found to be new variants is increasing.
@Karaza90@Telegraph@BorisJohnson The system is clearly flawed. But, if I had to guess on those two cases I'd suggest it's down to the "share of positive tests", which indicates that the real infection rate may be higher than reported:
@pissgheti@BBCWorld Worldwide I think we're up to around 1,200. In the meantime over 3,000,000 have died from catching COVID, plus countless others are living with long-term disabilities. How long can Australia maintain its safety bubble?
@KMB193@mary_rysdale@RaphaelSheridan@nycsouthpaw Also that some people are colour blind or interpret colours differently, and that printing ballots in colour would be a substantial cost increase.
