Through digital and print media, Rose Publications advances the creative and scholarly legacy of The Rose Ensemble. Music now in #LiloandStitch & #WhiteLotus
@GomezDessi got it right in her @DEADLINE article. Thanks for being among the few media sources that properly include The Rose Ensemble's performance of "Aloha ʻOe" in the soundtrack of the #Disney live-action #LiloandStitch

Thanks to @Patcrem94 at @RadioTimes for being among the few online media sources that actually credit The Rose Ensemble's performance of "Aloha ʻOe" in the new #Disney#LiloandStitch
(Why did everyone else leave us out?)

Matines de Noël, chantées jusqu'à la vigile de l'Epiphanie.
@scholastececile propose sur @radiocourtoisie des compositions maltaises du XVIIe siècle, restées anonymes et conservées dans les archives de la cathédrale de Mdina.

Five years ago this month, we performed our very last holiday concert. We uploaded the first half back in 2020, and now we’re pleased to share with you this long-overdue, second half. Peaceful tidings to all!

@RosiePentreath & @ClassicFM,
An article about music in #TheWhiteLotus and no mention of choral music recorded by The Rose Ensemble? 9 songs over almost 20 min of actual classical music (hymns and art song) including 19th-cen. works by Queen Lili'uokalani.

@melvincarter3 Why is it when someone (in this case, Mr. Mayor) says something positive and selfless, others use it as an opportunity to say something mean--about the very someone who was speaking positively and selflessly. It doesn't have to be this way. If you don't agree, sit that round out.
Announcing "Slavic Wonders," our 3rd volume of early choral scores! There's a lot to say about this wide-ranging collection, but we want to call your attention this yummy Renaissance #Czech motet:

It’s a dark day for choral music in the U.K. with the news that the BBC is disbanding the @BBCSingers. Well absolutely be culturally worse-off without them, and that’s to say nothing of the devastation for the skilled singers and staff, for whom this was their livelihood.
How can @ConnectPCC claim that this is treating the musicians "with dignity and respect"?! (Still, @kingssingers responded with a public statement that stands as a model of graciousness and diplomacy.)
If you've never seen someone attempt to use music theory to explain how syncopation leaves you vulnerable to demonic possession, you're in for a real treat:
Thanks to @BBCRadio3 for the airplay on this morning's "Breakfast" program. How nice to have our recording of Queen Lili'uokalani's "Aloha 'Oe" featured alongside @CristobalMusic in a little #WhiteLotus segment!
