Thanks to my "very professional" healthcare provider, refusing with logic backed by semantics, not facts, and abruptly stopping a medication that works as both an anti-anxiety and seizure prevention medication. Well, just like I said... I had a seizure last night. God... These "Healthcare Professionals" don't know anything about the medications they prescribe. It's common sense, and I love how I have to hang in limbo, risking another seizure because my provider has too much ego to see reason. LOVE IT
There’s a systemic gap when primary care providers prescribe psychiatric medications without doing the due diligence to understand their nuances. It shouldn’t be the patient’s job to bridge the gap between a script and the science; we're here for care, not to argue semantics.
