A memorable day for students, parents, founding team and donors. It started with showing guests around the campus and the Problem Showcase exhibition from the second week class for this year’s cohort.

It is heartbreaking to see images of 90-yo #AKuaDenteh lynched to death on charges of being a witch. We call on authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice. Read @bisiafayemi ‘s article in @Above_Whispers on the phenomenon which is far from new.

Systemic racism is a sickness that is endemic, infiltrating the pores of modern western culture. To even begin to start to reconcile & move forward we must first understand what countries are built on. Teach colonial history in british schools https://t.co/C2tuE2fxz3

Why are Africa's success stories in managing Covid being overlooked? Incl #Senegal $1 test, #Ghana 's innovative testing, & #Madagascar early signs of of a treatment. I have some thoughts. My column in today's @guardian https://t.co/sgim35lLmA
An excellent article. Ghana's response was exemplary & we're all buying Senegal's $1 test. Meanwhile in the UK 1 in 5 children are going hungry, they are *only now* talking about quarantining people entering the country& horrifying inequalities are sickenly obvious in death rates
The legacy of colonialism has perpetuated the lie that Black bodies are to be pitied and exclusively be recipients of aid. Is it possible for African people to be regarded as experts rather than passive victims?
