#Cocktail2 is pretty much what it promised - a silly basic rom com, you come, have a good time, and forget

The film is a good one time watch, the lead cast is beautiful to watch on screen, their banter is fun, the music composed by Pritam works for most parts - also ORIGINAL TUM HI HO BANDHU IS THERE!

It was never meant to be too deep so I don’t get the disappointment in some reviews,
however the story itself isn’t that strong, the main thread connecting the 3 leads could’ve been stronger definitely which is why you do not really care about the characters much unlike the first part.

#ShahidKapoor is a great actor undoubtedly and does a good job of whatever the role demanded

#RashmikaMandanna doesn’t have alot of depth written for her role, but still puts forward a respectable job (personally the accent does not bother me, it isn’t unnatural to me)

#KritiSanon however is truly the star of the film, her screen presence is electric and she is genuinely one of the strongest parts of the film, genuinely the perfect person to carry forward a character like Deepika’s from the original film. Nobody could’ve done this role better than her.

Rooting for it’s success, overall a decent light hearted film from Bollywood after long in the theatres.
