Iāve never been more convinced theyāre setting it up like Better Call Saul. It takes really competent writers to pull that off, so I hope the VR writers can do that.
'Vought Rising' is the next show in 'The Boys' universe
When asked if it may take place across multiple timelines, Eric Kripke said:

Premiering in 2027
If thereās one thing Iām gonna miss the most itās @TheBoysTV and @VoughtIntl accounts. Some of the greatest marketing weāve gotten for a tv series.
You guys are the real heroes ā¤ļø
(Sorry to quote Homelander, but it still fits, okay? š)
@captaincupkick Right?! Everyone thinks itās going to eventually have something to do with Doomsday, but I honestly hope itās just a forever bit š
@Spider_Bite242 I mean either of them. I know he does in the comics in a particular run, but it would just be nice if that didnāt happen here in the movies going forward.
Itās just in keeping with their own history of not caring about the artists that make their product for them. Look up what happened with Jack Kirby and thatāll tell you everything you need to know.
Marvel laying off Andy Park feels sick. He single-handedly defined the aesthetic for one of the biggest sagas pop culture has seen. Digging up my 2018 interview with him, because I think it sheds light on who he was behind all that gorgeous concept art. https://t.co/sAqsDDaCuh

Genuinely insane that even the guy who practically designed the MCU wasnāt safe from the layoffs. Corporate greed is a disease, firing the entire VD team is such a loss man
Marvel is in this position because the Multiverse saga flopped and flopped hard.
They are desperate and because of that desperation due to poor decision-making, an entire division of Marvel employees lost their jobs.
All while Disney and Marvel are raking in record profits.
If you are defending this, then you are part of the problem.
Even just the description of the trailer from CinemaCon tells me that Doomsday is going to be nothing like Hickmanās āAvengers: Time Runs Outā, but whatever, Joe.
Joe Russo says āAVENGERS: DOOMSDAYā and āAVENGERS: SECRET WARSā will unfold in a similar structure to the ācomics from which theyāre inspired.ā
āSerialized storytelling is the goal here. Thatās the fun, thatās the mission, alongside making movies that bring people together.ā

āNamor x Sueā is not a thing. Stop using the same fucking comic panels for justifying his manipulation towards her as some kind of romantic intention. Sue NEVER consensually acted romantically towards Namor. Iām so sick of seeing people misinterpret this whole stupid storyline.
WAIT⦠Did Marvel Just Tease NAMOR x SUE?!
In the CinemaCon trailer, Sue is facing a massive wave about to crash into her. She tries to hold it back alone, screaming just like she did when she pushed Galactus.
Here's my theory:
Namor hears her scream and shows up just in time. He saves her from drowning and this could be the moment he starts to fall for her.
Call it love at first wave ā¤ļø
Also, I have a concept for a Namor solo film.
#AvengersDoomsday
It actually saddens me that thereās more deleted scenes than what we got, because Iāve been wanting to know what this scene was going to be since it was in the trailer šš
