@drivingmemadi Being able to identify & label an emotion takes off half of the stress of it. Not knowing how or why you feel the way you do can be very overwhelming. Instead of “Idk why I’m so sad” = “I guess I’m feeling isolated” whatever it may be, provides clarity
"Timi, if you stop tweeting, the racists will leave you alone" sounds to me very much like, "Stop speaking up so the racists can feel safe again".
I won't, because I can't.
We really have to stop normalising missed lunches and working unpaid hours in 2020.
We need to stop praising pharmacists for missing lunches and praising this behaviour like it’s a quality.
It undervalues a mental break that is needed for patient safety and mental performance.
Few years after Firestarter came out, 16-year-old me was sitting an exam.
Before it started, the woman handing out the papers said "I'm the invigilator."
Immediately, one pupil shouted in a perfect Keith Flint impression, "PUNKIN' INSTIGATOR".
My answer paper had tears on it.
