No penalty against Liverpool in the League Cup. Kerkez appeared to foul Marmoush in area, but ref didn’t give it and no VAR.
Now 47 competitive domestic matches since THFC were awarded a penalty.
@Rustyspurs@AlasdairGold Hope you’re more positive in your seat than you are on social media! Bergvall was one our better players tonight: tackled well, drove forward a few times, and at least tries to make things happen occasionally. Gallagher, despite his goal, was far more ineffective.
@TrueEnglander_@AlasdairGold Nonsense. Ndyaie already said he was waiting for City. Also, if you’re offered a new job for 66% less than you’re on now, are you accepting? Don’t think so.
@EggzBenedict007@AlasdairGold I don’t believe Vasco offered him anywhere near £190k a week. Their top earner earlier this year was on £50k. I think it’s only logical that if you’re earning X and you have one more big contract, you’re going to look for something close to what you’re on, not 3-4 times less.
@pdrtinoc0@EggzBenedict007@AlasdairGold No chance. In January, Coutinho was the club’s top earner - on £50k a week. Impossible Richarlison joins on three times that.
@mattsprake@AlasdairGold The comments RDZ were clear as mud. The man speaks in riddles. He literally said “Everyone knows what Richarlison wants to do” and “I don’t know what he wants to do” in the same press conference a few weeks ago. And he started him in MD1 despite saying he asked to leave in May.
@EggzBenedict007@AlasdairGold Yet he’s earning upwards of £180k a week. Why anyone thinks he would voluntarily take a salary ten times less is bizarre. Need to value yourself and look after your family. Would you take such a pay cut?
@Ghostofgomez69@Daily_Hotspur@AVascainos@newscolina I don’t understand what he has done wrong. Said he would leave if it made sense for both Spurs and him. Everton came in on deadline day and lowballed him, offering a third of his current salary. Would you accept a job for 66% less money? I’m not ashamed to say I wouldn’t.
@TrickyTreeLeaks@AlasdairGold Just because Spurs paid 85m doesn’t mean he’s an 85m midfielder. And he was also relegated in two of those three seasons so wouldn’t really use that as a reason for him to start today!
@Tjaydebbie@Unpopularfootyx Amazing the amount of these fake quote-style tweets going around. I don’t really understand their purpose other than to farm engagement. And the amount of people who believe them is scary if not at all surprising.
@citizensaggers@NathanAClark Kudus can spark. As can Xavi. As can Deki. The hope is Savio, Marmoush and Odobert can too. Maddison has shown he could. Lots of our players can, but we’re currently stuck playing Tel, who should be a second half sub at best - for now.
@gruppocompacto@NathanAClark VDV looks psychologically traumatised by recent seasons. And I thought that before we conceded today. So panicky and desperate at times, which ultimately played its part in a needless yellow.
