Yesterday, after several years, I participated in my last official meeting, as Chair of @clbc_connect's Indigenous Advisory Committee (IAC).
The IAC has done significant work towards the advancement of Indigenous services and reconciliation within CLBC and British Columbia, and will continue to do great things as it moves forward!
I would like to recognize and thank the IAC members for their unwavering passion and dedication, the CLBC Indigenous Relations Team, CLBC Chair @ShaneLSimpson and CLBC CEO @RossChilton, Joanne, Jennifer, Frankie, and countless others, for their partnership, kinship and collaboration over the years!
CLBC provides vital support and services to adults with development/intellectual disabilities, and their families, and I am proud to have had the opportunity to be a small part of that great and much needed work.
