@benkimber @StanSportAU Not sure who it was, (Damon Murphy?) but in a SR AU match recently, he spoke about an attempt to lift the ball on a couple of occasions. Also Joubert years ago, didn’t penalise on one occasion and when questioned said, “You had the ball but didn’t pick it up!” 😍

Tonight in the #REBvWAR early on I heard Nic Berry shout a few times “Deep pass!” when one team was inside their 22 and the 9 was about to pass it back to the 10 to clear the ball.

Anyone have any idea what the “Deep pass” call is about?

@Rugbysmartarse Mine was the same. I found out Weds night. Plenty of workarounds: chromecast, gaming consoles etc. I am considering upgrading my TV but anyway. I agree it’s a pain but.

They detected the limitation of my TV and emailed me a bunch of links to other options and work arounds to “make sure I’m ready for Friday’s kick off.”

Fired up the Stan app on my TV last night to see what I could watch. A classic Bledisloe was on live! Imagine my disappointment when I get an error message: My TV doesn’t support live streaming. 😞 Disaster for the SR AU season. 1/3

@NickPfitzner @RugbyReg I also heard a stat (may have it wrong) that at full noise the stadium can pour 16,000 beers per minute. Definitely helps with the user experience when there is little waiting for a beer.
