We’ve waited 16 years to see our country in the World Cup again 🥹🇿🇦
19/26 of our players are from the PSL - the highest representation of any African league.
We need to celebrate this and be proud of our football 🙌🏽🇿🇦
Today, @diggiebongz and I had the honour of witnessing the swearing in of Acting Justice Tembeka Ngcukaitobi by the Deputy Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, DCJ Mlambo earlier today.
Congratulations Justice Tembeka Ngcukaitobi 🇿🇦

❤️🇿🇦 The entire South African national team lined up to take pictures and sign the jersey of the ONLY kid who showed up to visit them at their hotel in Pachuca.
They also signed his World Cup album and the coach gifted him the South Africa jersey. 🏆👏🏼
🚨 Ronaldo Nazário (R9) on who is better: himself or Cristiano Ronaldo:
"People often compare us because we are both named Ronaldo, but our careers were very different.
I won the World Cup, and that is something nobody can take away from me. But football greatness is not decided by one tournament alone. It is measured by the impact you leave on the game."
"When Cristiano started his career, Portugal was not considered one of football's traditional superpowers like Brazil, Argentina, France, Germany, or Spain. Those countries had generations of world-class players and a long history of winning major trophies."
"Cristiano changed that. He became the face of Portuguese football and led his country to trophies that many people never believed Portugal could win. An entire generation of Portuguese players grew up inspired by him and dreamed of playing at the highest level in Europe because of what he achieved."
"At my best, I believe I had abilities that very few players in history possessed. But Cristiano's longevity, discipline, mentality, and achievements over more than twenty years are extraordinary."
🚨🗣️ | Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on winning the UEFA Champions League Player of the Season:
“This is a dream come true for me. Since I was a child, I watched Cristiano Ronaldo dominate this competition. Every Champions League night, I saw him scoring goals, breaking records and leading his teams to glory. Watching him succeed as both a winger and a striker, and doing it for different clubs, was incredible. He made me believe that one day I could achieve something special in this tournament too.”
“Winning this award and lifting the Champions League trophy again is an incredible feeling. To win it twice is something I could only dream about when I was younger. Every time I stepped onto the pitch in this competition, I remembered those nights watching Ronaldo and imagining myself on the biggest stage.”
“Cristiano has always been my idol and, for me, the greatest football player of all time. I admired his mentality, discipline and obsession with improving every single day. I tried to follow his example throughout my career.”
“Seeing my name connected with success in this competition means everything because it all started with watching Cristiano Ronaldo.”
