I was sad to hear about the passing of Dory Funk Jr., one of pro wrestling’s all time greatest champions. He held the NWA World Heavyweight Title from 1969-1973. His matches against the likes of Billy Robinson, Harley Race, Jack Brisco, Bruiser Brody, & Stan Hansen were classics

I recently had a great vacation in Dallas, Tx. catching 2 NFL games with Cowboys against Eagles & Chiefs as well as NHL games with Stars against Mammoth & Senators. Both AT&T Stadium & American Airlines Arena were incredible venues.

My family was tremendously honored as the Alberta gov’t named Highway 8 Bridge the Stu Hart Memorial Bridge. It recognizes my dad’s contributions to the Alberta community as a promoter & trainer with Stampede Wrestling & operating Clearwater Beach as a major tourist attraction.

In civic election on 10/20, I
endorse my niece Brit Hart; running for School Board Trustee in Wards 1 & 2. She would be a strong voice for students, parents & the community to ensure that all students have the best educational resources & schools are safe & fun places to learn.
