Why are we giving haters too much credit when the best they can do is stalk bunch of HS kids? Pelaton never followed him their following count was 89 and still is, also the campaign was strictly 8 weeks and they've deleted stuff of their previous collabs!!!!
This is a wonderful think piece written by @cityneedsme_bat and it delves into everything that has happened since Hudson got famous without making any excuses for him. Here is the link for the entire piece

There are like 6 different bigger conversations within this: cyberstalking, the way people see Poc as irredeemable, the need for everyone to be perfect, not believing people can change, parasocialism, and the loss of safe spaces for BIPOC
this will eventually pass, but what will not pass is many of you being grown ups (some even 30+) and acting like the peak of your lives is bullying some random actor and actively celebrating & wishing for harm on him. y'all are rotten and pathetic to the core
not to be a bad person but there's irony in combing through someone's entire life and assuming nobody will ever return the favor. not a game i’d start unless i was confident in the outcome. we’ll see how well that ages
connor’s grown adult fans getting 700 likes on a photo of kids in bathing suits to prove hudson grew up in a 90% white town. now explain why you're zooming in on half naked kids to conduct racial analysis. should we check your hard drive?

Oh, absolutely. Someone brought this up a while ago.
It’s like some people are so used to white people being the center of attention in Western media that when a person of color takes that spot, they act as if something is being taken away from them. Maybe that just the white supremacy built into their DNA they can’t suppress when it’s called out. That’s a topic for another day.
Every time an Asian person becomes popular in Western media, almost immediately something is found about them that ruins their image, and they’re pushed into the background with no fans left to support them.
Hudson has support. Hudson has fans.
Whatever these people’s intentions were, they have failed for six months, and they’re becoming desperate. The constant “Now his fans will leave him. Now he will be alone. Now people will see his true colors” rhetoric is exhausting. It’s like their pea-sized brains can’t comprehend the fact that fans of all backgrounds love and support him—not just his white co-star, who for some reason becomes the default focus whenever society finds a new star.
There’s proof that people involved with the cast and crew didn’t even consider that Hudson could be just as popular as Connor. The online articles pushing him to the side, the fans praising Connor while ignoring the work Hudson also put into his performance on the show—it all says something.
They hate how educated Hudson is. They hate that Hudson is loved. They hate that he has a girlfriend, friends he works with, and a successful career. He’s a director, a cinephile, and an accomplished creative.
They hate him because he’s everything they wish Connor could be.
I don’t know why people aren’t saying the quiet part out loud.
Connor Storrie is a high school dropout who admitted he hasn’t read a book since his teens and was breaking his back doing mundane jobs in LA before this opportunity came along. What does that say, hmm?
All they have with Connor is a good accent and a good physique, while Hudson has so much more going for him—especially with a college degree, you understand?
I will not stand for the pettiness, jealousy, and envy these racist demons are trying to project onto Hudson simply because he rose to be loved in the industry, made a name for himself in pop culture, and has fans who are devoted to whatever he does in life.
The more hate that man gets, the stronger my determination becomes to keep supporting him and cheering him on from the sidelines.
Maybe it’s out of spite.
God, I swear, I’m not fucking leaving.
The double standard and bias against Hudson Williams is real.POC celebs are rarely given grace or space to grow. I judge him by the person I see today:someone who advocates for inclusion, supports women in leadership, and treats others with respect. #HudsonWilliams#HeatedRivalry
