@ChrisMedlandF1 Cleverly worded, doesn’t even say it’s the collision that shouldn’t have happened. He says leading to ‘a move that was not right and shouldn’t have happened’. Could easily apply to being told to give the place back. I think Max is 100% wrong but this is the king of non apologies

@GaryLineker@RestIsFootball Would a lot of the problems with VAR not be fixed by simply putting a 30s time limit on all decisions? If you can’t spot a clear and obvious error in 30s then it isn’t clear and obvious. Fewer breaks, less delays and still stops the howlers
@virginmedia joined 3 weeks ago from sky. So far have had: engineer failed to turn up after waiting in all day, free gift TV “out of stock”, 2 missed call backs, poor multi-room, total of 140 minutes on hold over 4 times I’ve had to ring, now just been hung up on by “manager”
@GaryLineker@RestIsFootball A lot of the problems with VAR are solved with a 30 second time limit. If something is not a clear and obvious enough error to spot in 30s then it isn’t enough for VAR to intervene - stick with the on field call. Fixes long delays and re refereeing?
@KirstieMAllsopp Good news though as buying fewer Costa coffees and cancelling their Netflix will mean they can shoulder the extra burden though right?
